Nightcrawler "stole" a kiss from Mariko, Wolverine's girl friend, and he really took exception.
Yelling "A A R G H !!" he slashed out with his claws, and only Nightcrawler's quick reflexes and his abillity to teleport saved him from getting KILLED.
Angel saw this, and then went to Prof.Xavier , telling him that he was leaving the X-Men - or ANY group that would have Wolverine as a member. "Someday that man is going to KILL somebody - and that person might well be ME !"
